If you are seeking to create a legacy through philanthropy,
the Global Gift Fund offers a preferable alternative to traditional
family foundations. The Global Gift Fund is similar to a “private
foundation” but without the hassle and expense. As
a GiftAdvisor, or donor, you can create a donor advised fund
through which you can support the charities and causes closest
to your heart in perpetuity. Your fund bears your family's
name or other means of personal identification. You may create
a fund through the assistance of a Global Gift Fund DonorAdvisor.
Our DonorAdvisor affiliates are financial service professionals
who are specially trained to handle Global Gift Fund accounts
and are your key contact for your Global Gift Fund needs.

A GiftAdvisor refers to an individual donor who has established
a Global Gift Fund. Through the Global Gift Fund, GiftAdvisors
can:
- Recommend grants to support the causes they care about

- Name an individual to succeed you as the GiftAdvisor
for your Global Gift Fund,
- Define a mission or purpose
of your fund,
- Involve your family to build a personal
legacy and family value.
Any individual can create a charitable fund through the
Global Gift Fund. The minimum contribution amount to establish
a fund is $25,000. MDRT members may elect to open an account
